What's the difference between a contract phone and SIM-only plan?
With a monthly contract you pay a monthly fee for a new phone plus an allowance of calls, texts and data, usually tied to 12–24 months. A SIM-only deal gets you calls, texts and data — but not a new phone.
Do I own my phone after my contract ends?
Yes. Once the contract ends you've paid off your handset and it belongs to you, so you can move to a SIM only deal or sell it and upgrade.
How can I find out when my current contract is ending?
Text INFO to 85075 to get your contract information. If you're still unsure, contact your current provider — or call us and we'll check for you.
Can I keep my old phone number?
Yes. Text 'PAC' to 65075 to get your PAC code, give it to your new provider, and the transfer can complete in as little as one working day. PAC codes are valid for 30 days.
Can I get a phone contract with bad credit?
Your credit score is checked by the provider, and each network scores differently. There's no minimum score, but a poor score could mean rejection. Our team can point you to networks that are easier to get approved with.
